This opportunity to create a walkable, interactive mural has inspired me to showcase pollinator friendly flowers in a bright and exciting way, encouraging passers by to feel inspired to plant the blooms in their own spaces. My Concept Byward Blooms showcases a vibrant gradient of flowers that are often found in city gardens and throughout the Ottawa Valley’s diverse nature. The small space between flowers also provides opportunities for dancing, playing, and jumping from bloom to bloom.
