I love clean edges a distinct wood grain😍 A big part of this series has involved pairing plants with board dimensions and textures. Each has influenced or inspired the other as I’ve selected a variety of plant subjects and bases. My favourite panel to work with is birch because the soft colour means paints pop as brightly as they would on a white surface, and the smooth drifts of textural patterns feel quite calming✨
